Because resolution and number of players don't equal better multiplayer. And remember that Halo 3 uses 2 frame buffers running @ 640p each, so if Bungie decided to go with only one the 360 would have been more than capable of running it on 720p or 1080p native.

Compression tools get better and most games get smaller, not bigger like some people around here want you to believe. Developers are mindful of the limitations and they will start to work around it. Look at Mass Effect, a game with dozens of planets to visit and explore more than 20,000 lines of dialog, all on one...
I am a 360 fan and I admit that Uncharted among other PS3 games look cool and have potential. True gamers play the games based on its merits, not because its exclusive to console brand ACME.
But I have to disagree with you on Half Life because that game came out in 2004 and I doubt mags and web sites are going to let it run for 2007 GoY.
I look forward to 2008, the year when I have the money to buy a PS3 and complete my triforce of gaming goodness.

Mario is back!
Alan Wake has some pretty wicked graphics too. This year (and next year all the more also) is going to be hard on my wallet. I hope Uncharted and all the other AAA looking titles for the PS3 live up to their hype. That way when I finally get the PS triple I will have some games that really shine on the system.

For me it would take Shenmue 3 or KoTOR 3. I have a 360 btw but I plan on getting a PS3 in 2008 if it starts getting good games with good reviews.
